Ahhh, I can hear The Doors singing in my head right now.
Today, I decided to throw caution to the wind and push myself into new territory. I did. And I am better for it. Here's the play by play...
Jerk: 2 x 20kg - 4 minutes @ 6 rpm
Snatch: 20kg - 6 minutes @ 12 rpm
One Arm Jerk: 32kg - 6L/6R
Swing: 32kg - 5L/5R
My Jerks are improving. The 4 minutes felt relatively good and I would tried to stretch it except I knew that I was going to go for the gold today on my Snatches.
Snatches... well I survived. It got pretty ugly toward the end of each arm's turn. My breathing was good but my arm and hand was very fatigued. I grit my teeth and fought through. This was a HUGE breakthrough for me.
OAJs felt pretty good. Swings were as uncomfortable as they were when I first started swinging the 28kg. But I know, it'll come with time. Good day today. Tomorrow, I rest!

I'm seeing what you are up to but I'm also semi-worried. Jim Morrison saw the other side either as death or as some state of drug induced enlightenment. Neither of these is what I want for you. OK, in all seriousness - excellent work. I really am quite amazed at how strong you are after such a long "lay-off" because of the back problem. Good work buddy! Keep it up but please DO NOT eat, sniff, or otherwise ingest any mushrooms unless given the go ahead by your doc.
Thanks my man. I'm still dealing with a temperamental back. It's been a long, steady climb back up this mountain, that's for sure. And still such a long way to go. I hope I don't come across any mushrooms on the climb up!
