Back At It with a Bump

After I nice recuperative weekend, I was back at it today with the 20kg bell.

One Arm Jerk: 20kg - 4 minutes @ 16 rpm

Snatch: 20kg - 4 minutes @ 16 rpm

One Arm Long Cycle - 4 minutes @ 16 rpm

This was a tough session - particularly during the Long Cycle. Finishing off with Long Cycle is a killer. More forearms were pumped. I could barely jot down my performance in my training log.

This might have been the first time I hit 4 minutes in the Snatch at 16 rpm. They felt relatively good throughout. I am starting to notice my technique naturally developing as I start to work these longer sets now with a heavier bell. I have read other describe the Snatch similar to the Jerk in how with proper timing you "bump" it up using your hips. That is now starting to happen with me without my even trying. I suppose with the lighter bells I was able to manage without incorporating this "extra" movement. I suppose those days are gone now. =)

I can imagine how pumped the arms must feel after your LC. I feel pretty pumped and I'm just using the 16. Good work Howie!
