Quick Post-Thanksgiving Day Workout

I threw in a quick workout today. My plan worked yesterday, where I focused my eating on turkey and not a lot of carbs. So I wasn't too full or feeling sick at the end of the day.

My back held up pretty well from yesterday's session so I decided to throw in a quick session today.

Jerk: 2 x 12kg - 5 minutes @ 6 rpm

Double Clean: 2 x 12kg - 2 minutes @ 10 rpm

That's it and that's all! Just enough to keep things loose.

Howie,

Nice blog and a big thank you for posting the link to Scott's rack article.

I saw that several visitors from your blog came to mine as well, so i thought I'd check in and see what you were up to.

Are you following the AKC fitness manual? Your workouts look a little like the protocol I'm following.

Anyway, thanks again.

Jim

Hiya Jim, thanks for stopping by! I have included your blog on my list as I think you have a good perspective on training.

I attended the NYC Fitness cert earlier this year. My current training, due to my back injury, is somewhat freestyle now. I'm inching back slowly. Early on I was following the Fitness Protocol to the tee.

My back is still a bit tempermental to one arm racks so I'm trying my hand now at double jerks. Hopefully at the same time preparing me somewhat for the Coaches' cert coming to NY this year.
